What Day X newsletter/magazine is about?

Understand the roots why this publication was created

I am just a regular guy living in the world as you see right now. Life is beautiful, we all have everything that we mainly need - the roof overhead, the food we love, a car that brings us from point A to B, we can relax and watch a movie on Netflix, etc. In general, we live a very good and comfortable life (I know that there are a lot of hot points on the map already, and they are facing Day X, and unfortunately they have to face many unimaginable things daily).

However, (yes, there is always a but) the world can change in a single minute. New wars happening, protests due to domestic or international events, new diseases, you name it. Our generation sees it all now. A peaceful and comfortable life can change within a few days.

And it makes us think, what would I do in one scenario or another? Am I prepared? Can I protect my family? Would be we safe if X event happens? Naturally, it made me think about this as well. As I said, I am just a regular guy who works a regular job. I’m not some former Navy Seal with an experience out of this world, I don’t know how to kill someone with a stapler or survive without food in -30c, naked, on an uninhabited island.

Naturally, it made me learn and deep research what should I do if a war breaks out in my country tomorrow, a new deadly disease spreads, or a nuclear powerplant has an incident. I MUST BE PREPARED or at least know what to do and how to act accordingly. And yes, this is how the idea to write up about what I’ve learned was born.

Everything you will read in this magazine/newsletter is found out by researching, reading, watching videos, etc. I didn’t create anything myself. Luckily, I have been a heavy internet user for ages, and most of my job is researching and learning daily. That made some of the tasks easier for me. Finding reliable and good resources, critically checking what’s provided, and assessing correctly everything I’ve found on the internet.

The publication is dedicated to people worldwide. It doesn’t matter if you live in North America, Europe, or Australia. You will find something useful here.

However, some of the recommendations, items you buy, medications you use, etc, etc. can vary. Anyway, in general, the principles remain the same.

So join the journey of learning, and being prepared. Even though I really don’t want Day X to come, but being prepared makes one calmer.
